Tips for a good interview

First of all this following tips does not guarantees that you will be hired in at any time but it will help you because you will leave them with a good impression of whom you are and what you are willing to offer. Remember that even if you are working in a casual dress code environment always wear elegant clothing because even the attire gives also an impression to be considered. This are tips before your interview:

1. Stay Calm: Focus on the questions that you are been asked, if you messed up in one of those questions just move on. I suggest to take three deep breaths before entering the office of the hiring person. Keep eye contact at all times as this shows confidence. Never use fluffy words. Do not use your hands when you talk.

2. Research: Learn some more about the company where you got the interview from, to always know a bit more it will show that you are interested in the and they got less work to show you because you already have a bit knowledge of what is that company all about.

3. Bring resume: Maybe they have it on file but always keep one in handy because maybe at the time of the interview they do not have your resume with them so is always good to bring a copy to give a good impression.

4. Be on time: This is really important because this shows the first impression of you. Just imagine if you are late for the interview the most important meeting to show your first impression. What do you think they will think of you? this doesn't means to be like hours early you want for them to know you are interested not desperate. Just be like 10-20 min early.

5. Show the things you know: Relate what you know with what the job requirements are, if you must create a list of assets whether is certificate, experience etc. This will show that you meet the requirements but beware never make fake statements in this because the truth always comes out. For instance do not say you have a certificate on something which you don't, they will make a background check and if they found out you lied you are done and they will never want you.
